TailDaters is a short-lived reality dating series where the raucous and unexpected humor springs not just from the outgoing singles themselves, but also from the "Backseat Daters", friends and family who know the participants best, watching the date live on a closed circuit monitor and making instant commentaries.

Hosted by Rafael Araneda with Ana Patricia Gámez as co-host, the dating reality show help candidates from the U.S. and Puerto Rico find their potential soulmates. Roberto Hernández joins the show as love correspondent, following the couples closely on their dates, sharing everything that happens behind the camera.

Sharing a beautiful mansion with a group of attractive males and females, it would be natural to fall for any of them and possibly become a couple. However, things are trickier as not all the lovely housemates are here for love. Among the ‘Love Catchers’ who are looking for love, an unknown number of ‘Money Catchers’ are just pretending to have a feeling for others for the money. In this mansion, five females and five males, paired with everyone once, spend five days doing challenges and two days dating their partner of choice to catch love. All the while, they must avoid the ‘Money Catchers’, whose goal is to deceive the ‘Love Catchers’ in order to win the $ 50,000. The ‘Money Catchers’ must also compete against one another so that they can possess the prize money to themselves. Will the ‘Love Catchers’ find love and will the ‘Money Catchers’ catch money?

Parental Control is a heavily scripted "pseudo-reality" program produced by MTV. The two directors, Brendon Carter and Bruce Klassen, have also created other MTV shows. In Asia, this show was aired on Channel V in the period of 2007-2009.
